Dr. Neil Allen received his medical doctorate from the University of Illinois in Chicago. As a postgraduate, he served a mixed internship at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, an internal medicine residency at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago, and a neurological residency at the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. Dr. Allen is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Neurology, and the Chicago Medical Society, among other professional societies. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Neurology, and the American Academy of Neurological Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Allen is Vice President and Managing Partner of Consultants in Neurology. He is on the Editorial Review Board of Headache Quarterly.
Dr. Karyn Karlin is a board certified neurologist who joined the staff at our Wilmette office recently. She has hospital privileges at Rush North Shore Medical Center and is a member of most area managed care organizations.
Dr. Charu Nagar received a fellowship in neuromuscular/EMG from Washington University/Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Nagar completed her residency in neurology from Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois, and an internship in internal medicine from Ball Memorial Hospital, Indiana. She received a medical degree from Mysore University, India. Dr. Nagar joined the Consultants in Neurology in 2002. Her specialty is muscle diseases, EMG, neuropathies, BOTOX®, headaches, aging and dementias. She has offices in Northbrook and Chicago, patient care privileges at Highland Park Hospital, Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Weiss Memorial Hospital. She is involved in various clinical trials, has keen interest in research and muscle biopsy interpretation. Dr. Jordan Waxman received his medical doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He served a rotating internship and neurological and internal medicine residencies at Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Waxman is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of several professional societies, including the Dizziness and Balance Disorder Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. Waxman is an assistant professor of internal medicine at Rush Medical School in Chicago. He is a sub-investigator for clinical trials on epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, pain, and stroke. Dr. Daniel Wynn received his medical doctorate from The Chicago Medical School in Illinois. He went on to pursue residencies in internal medicine and neurology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, where he also received EEG and sleep disorder/polysomnography fellowships. Dr. Wynn is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special competence in clinical neurophysiology. He is also board certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Disorders. Dr. Wynn belongs to numerous professional organizations, including the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Medical Association. He is actively involved in the advancement of the field of neurology through participation in clinical trials as principal investigator for studies on stroke, Alzheimer's disease, neuropathy, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease. |
